GERONNEN GLAS — Glass Vessel

A square of glass, dropped like a cloth. The folds were liquid for a moment, then stopped.

The smallest piece of the series. A square of float glass is slumped over a form at around 800 °C, its edges folding up before the kiln cools and holds them in place. A vessel for a single stem, for water, or for nothing at all. Nothing is cut afterwards, nothing corrected.

No two pieces come out the same, so every one is photographed and numbered individually.
